About the event
Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica on October 28, 2025, devastating communities across the western area of the island. In Farm Whitehouse, Westmoreland, Karen Foster, her daughter Chantel, grandson, and two foster children she took under her wing, lost their home when it collapsed during the storm.
Being of Jamaican decent, I felt a burden in my heart to figure out a way to give back and help support those impacted by the hurricane. My team and I are combining impact and empowerment through a community-driven fundraiser supporting families in Jamaica affected by Hurricane Melissa. This fundraiser supports rebuilding a modest one-room home with a secure roof for Ms. Karen and her family, as well as furnishings to help them live and sleep comfortably. Any additional funds will go towards Healthy Souls International, a nonprofit that is helping provide clean water for the communities in Jamaica as well as purchasin…
